Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS SLR Lens Review

Until recently I worked in a photographic studio and their equipment (they have used both Canon and Nikon). I recently bought some of my equipment, and this was the first goal that I bought (not just with my Canon Rebel XS was included). As a photographer, I want this lens to someone to buy his first camera D-SLR is recommended. This is a really good aim with an entry-level d-SLR-go (like the Canon Rebel), especially for thoserelatively new to photography. This is an excellent target for both snapshots and artistic photos. This field of view it is more or less like the average human eye. Will be made some slight distortion at the edges of the wider picture angle, but to avoid that, probably will end up paying several hundred dollars extra for a special lens. If you need a professional to make critical records, such as architecture or technical picture, I would recommend that a lens with less distortion. However, if the entry level (or even if you're like me, uses a semi-professional this goal, especially for landscapes and portraits), there is no reason to spend extra money. This objective is for you to work well.
The objective mounts easily on my Canon camera, and operation of the lens (including the Image Stabilizer function) is very simple. There are some disadvantages of this objective, the main one is that the autofocus motors are a bit 'slow, which canPain, especially if you work the focus is wildlife. A second disadvantage is that the image stabilizer works as good as advertised, but is still decent, and makes a significant difference of images taken with faster shutter down, blurring, for the most part, even in times of closure avoidable in the order of 1 / 30 The further advantage is that even with the IS, the goal is easy enough for a standard D-SLR-ZoomLens.
For a professional debate on a new lens, I would recommend a higher cost, higher quality lenses, but this is very economical. For new, up-and-coming photographers who are interested in a hobby or an occasional or refinement of their photography as an art form, I would recommend this. In fact, if you are looking for an entry-level camera setup, I'd recommend combining this product with a Canon Rebel XS.

Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS SLR Lens Overview
Equipped with Canon’s Optical Image Stabilizer (IS) technology, the Canon EF-S 18-55mm standard zoom lens is ideal for just about any application. IS technology compensates for camera shake by providing the equivalent effect of a shutter speed up to four stops faster. This allows you to take sharp handheld shots even in low-light conditions–a must for sports and nature photography. The lens also offers an aspherical lens element that corrects for aberration, thus producing a topnotch image throughout the zoom range, and a circular aperture that exquisitely renders out-of-focus backgrounds. Despite its minimal size, weight, and cost, the lens expands the picture-taking possibilities any time slow shutter speeds are needed.
